15 GoodDeed seekers ran 6k to deliver 300 flyers to promote the new Over 50’s exercise classes put on by Open Age Charity.

We have a new home!! Testing out our new meet point at the very warm Marshall Street Leisure Centre just off Carnaby Street.

Meeting in reception, dropping our bags off and welcoming our GoodGym first timers along for the run! Even picking up an extra runner from the Run and Talk group.

Nibble feet as we nipped around the back through Piccadilly and down towards Pimlico discovering some place to run and to avoid in the coming weeks!!

Once we got to Vauxhall Bridge Road right next to the class location we got delivering to some difficult to reach members of the community to encourage physical activity and social interaction in the over 50’s.

Playing hide and seek with letter boxes as we worked our way through the labyrinth of an estate finding as many as we could before we one last burst on the houses and businesses that surround the estate. Completing all 30 perfectly on time we bounced back to base with great chat and energy.

On best behaviour we grabbed our stuff and headed home!!

Next week we will be helping out Homeless Britain down in Ebury Estate. With task owner Mike in hospital it might be a bit different but our help is even more important while he recovers!

See you at Marshall Street
