Today 11 of us met on a sunny Tuesday evening for a litter pick of Hanwell Foodbank grounds. We split into two groups; Harvey on recycling, Milly and Sevan on general rubbish. Welcome to our newest member Georgie too!

The repeat offenders were gloves, cigarette butts and plastic bags. So much rubbish stuck in the bushes!!!

We collected four big bags of rubbish and off we went for a well earned drink.

Helping local people in crisis

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. We are part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK.
