This morning regular Junior Park Run volunteers James, Anne, Wayne, Adam, Alys, & Victoria carried out various roles at the Junior park run.

🎉 Big shout out to Anne who last Saturday took part in the 10k Winter Run For Cancer Research Uk Anne has been training very hard for this race and completed the course in a fantastic 1h 3mins 👏🏻 (Anne you are amazing).

We also met Victoria’s mum who is over from Canada for a month who is an avid park run volunteer back at home it was great chatting to her and hearing about Park runs over the pond.

James took part in a Cross country race yesterday but unfortunately did not finish the race due to an injury that has flared up again, we hope James recovers quickly as he is our motivator for when we go out on our group runs. 😉

So back to park run today in total there were 80 runners with the winning time 07:23 there was also 28 PB’s which is amazing.

The Marshals had to be extra vigilant this morning due to a dipped man hole cover which was coned off and making sure the young runners did not trip; everyone did a fantastic job.

This coming Wednesday we are at Brookwood Station painting & weeding.

It is also Anne’s Birthday would be great to see many faces there to give her the bumps..🤣
