A nice cycle brought Luis & JP to Ms B’s house north of the Chiswick roundabout for a sunny Saturday morning good deed.
Ms B had a garage full of stuff which she wanted sorting and rearranging in more orderly fashion, to make way for more stuff coming from inside the house. Eventually the plan was for a skip to come to take away some of the stuff that was no longer needed, but in the short term all the stuff needed to be kept in the garage.
After making the acquaintance of Rosie the dog, we made our way into the back garden where a fig tree had been depositing its ripe fruits all over the place, much to the delight of the local wasp population. Less delightful for us, as it was very difficult to walk through the garden to the garage without getting fig mush all over our shoes.
Still, we pressed on valiantly. We brought out bags of stuff for Ms B to check and following her perusal these were mostly piled up for later repacking into the garage. Some items were kept back to be moved into the house, while some additional items were found in the house to be moved to the garage.
With some smart rearranging inside the garage - and the liberation of some previously unused shelf space - we managed to put everything back in a more orderly fashion than before, with easier access into and through the garage.
Satisfied with our efforts and thanked profusely by Ms B, we got back on our bikes and rode off into the rest of Saturday.
