Despite the wet weather forecast it started dry for the 16 keen good gymers who descended on the park view estate for gardening tasks. As usual we were greeted by Catherine and Liam, who entertained us with some rude songs ;-)

Becs and Boris stayed in the nursery replanting chilli seedlings into pots. Faye, Sasha, Nina and Louise weeded the wild flower bed at the front of the estate whilst Charlotte and Heather combined weeding with planting lavender. Boris and John worked in a border flower bed, adding in compost and planting lavender whilst the two Jennifers and Amber weeded a wild flower bed and planted cosmos seedlings and Stephen dug up raspberry shoots that has escaped out of their designated area.

After a good hour of work some of the team moved on to the blu ivy cafe on the canal for a socially distanced coffee and chat.
