Vicky completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Vicky was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.

Well done to those that volunteered that managed to assist Barnet with its vaccination program over the last month.

Did my Barnet vaccine shift today. Checking people in on an Ipad at the door. Free Lucozade and hot chocolate. It used to be a running track. Now it's a mass vaccination hub.

Today marked the 1 year anniversary of lock down and in celebrating National Day of reflection I switched up the fitness session a bit today. Today's play list courtesy of Spotify consisted of all female artists as we celebrate the wonderful females out there and their continued contribution to make the world a better place. We appreciate and love you all.

It was great seeing some familiar faces who have been going strong since the start of lock down a year ago, but even more warming to see some new faces.

  • 30 sec Press up
  • 30 sec alternate leg reverse lunge
  • 30 sec squat
  • 60 sec rest
  • 30 sec Plank up/down alternating between the palms and elbow
  • 30 sec Toe touch crunches
  • 30 sec palm plank with knees to elbow
  • 60 sec rest
  • 30 sec V sit ups
  • 30 sec mountain climbers
  • 30 sec elbow plank jacks

We repeated the above exercises for 35 minutes the in the final two sets swapped out squats with crawling forward them backward whilst in the elbow plank position.

Throughout the sessions I could hear a few moan and groans but we all worked up a sweat in time for for yummy dinner.
