We have been invited to a regular yearly dawn chorus event at Long Lane Pastures. Volunteers there will provide information and guidance.
Fancy challenging yourself for a short very early run and gather for a special event at the nature reserve. Watch the sun rise and listen to the dawn chorus. Yoga sun salute and some light work on the nature reserve possible.
Long Lane Pasture is a 1.1 hectare nature reserve in Finchley in the London Borough of Barnet. It is owned by Barnet Council and managed by the Long Lane Pasture Trust. The council does not contribute any funds to the Trust. The trust relies on local volunteers and under a management plan agreed with the council, the site is managed to protect its wildlife value and maintain and enhance its biodiversity. There is access by a footpath from Long Lane immediately north of the North Circular Road.
