As the nights turn darker and evenings get a little chilly, 2 Goodgymmers made the trip to town and a 2nd attempt at clearing the flower beds of the High St. Pam having remembered the right night to appear, we quickly cleared the flowers ready for replanting this week. A special welcome to Rosalyn on her first task, who also helped me clear flowers blocking the street signs, sometimes it pays to be tall.

2 GoodGymers swept and mopped the FoodBank floor.

The FoodBank gets a lot of use every day, serving the people of Colchester and so there was plenty of cleaning to do, but with good team work and a lot of sweat and muscle 4 GoodGymers swept, mopped, vacuumed and wiped down the huge warehouse in just over an hour. Great to meet the lovely Naomi and catch up with Pramila and Ray. We'll be back at the FoodBank in a month.

Having cleared the planters in town for summer bedding last month, they were now needing a little TLC to keep them going until Autumn. We deadheaded, weeded and de-littered while putting the world to rights. Top litter find was a Tursday night beverage for Frazer and Ray was glad this task involved a little less Spidermanesque maneuvers than the last one in town...
