Saturday 2nd May

Elle (She/her) completed their first weekend mission.
Elle has forgone the usual weekend routine. Instead of lie-ins, roasts and strolls around the park Elle has dropped everything to run a GoodGym mission for someone who needed help. Respect

The hedge at the property had not been tended for a few years so it has got really tall and thick, blocking out a lot of light. We set to work on the hedge around the front get to try and get more light into the property. We took about four feet off the top so the hedge was about six foot tall, making a massive difference but were only able to do part of the front hedge on this visit. The client's son was very happy with our progress though.
It was really good to catch up with Elle. Hopefully we'll be able to do some further visits and really get the hedge under control.

With the gorgeous sun above, Rachel and Elle showed up in the nick of time as the raised beds were looking very dry! They rescued the plants and then pulled out more weeds and replaced them with marigolds. Rachel saved the day with her pun (she's a natural GoodGymer)! However, once again, they were too busy to remember the selfie, so for this report we'll feature an older picture of Leanne... maybe it will tempt her to come back on another lunch break ;)
