Our session tonight was to help out at the vaccine Centre as they had added in a slot that was perfectly timed for us!
However, with the high rate in Covid numbers over the Christmas period, many people have been unable to attend their booster shots, therefore the shifts have been very quiet.
Having had the heads up that it may be a slow slog we decided to still come in and see if the center needed any other help, then had a back up plan of litter picking if it all went Pete Tong!
Shot in the arm .. and your to blame … you give love a bad name
Surprisingly there was a steady flow of people wanting their shot of medicine. We had young guns to overseas residents to those just coming in for numero uno.
Whilst Ramneek (welcome back for your second task), Abdulaziz and I worked the front door we had Pam Nisha and Sandy strutting their stuff in the observation area.
The 90 minutes flew by tonight. Well done to everyone for giving your blue Monday a purpose and helping others to #getvaccinated

Community Cape
Ramneek Jutla earned their community cape by completing their first community mission.
Ramneek completed a community mission. Instead of watching TV or lying in bed, Ramneek was out there making their community a better place to be. For making that choice they have earned the community cape.
Ramneek Jutla has done their first good deed with GoodGym. 🤩

Ramneek Jutla has done their first good deed with GoodGym.
Ramneek is a now a fully fledged GoodGym runner. They've just run to do good for the first time. They are out there making amazing things happen and getting fit at the same time.

We had a lovely walk talk and do something good this morning at Black Park.
A community mission of walking nearly 2 miles and collecting nearly a bagful of litter.
Park users have made this task easier for us by using the bins.
Great to have Ramneek and Emma join us on their first GoodGym task. We hope to see you at more tasks soon.
