Camden Report written by Gosia Rybacka
Unfortunately I was not able to complete this mission ๐. I would like to report few more details that might be useful for reorganising.
It turned out that instead of the chair (which I expected based on the description), it was a small sofa that needs to be assembled. Ms I also mentioned few other furniture that requires the same.
I was really considering making a start on it but:
i) I am not experienced in assembling bigger furniture and got worried I will not get it right;
ii) from the size and the level of complexity of the instructions, assembling it looked like a job for at least two goodgymmers (and maybe someone stronger than me);
iii) the room it's currently in is small and crammed so I think it will be the best idea to complete the assembly in one go (rather than in parts).
I was very sorry I wasn't able to help Ms I today and I think she also knew that this could be a case as right in the beginning she said that she expected 2-3 people to arrive ๐.
I have taken few photos of the sofa that needs the assembly. I hope they will give a good idea on the work required and could be used to rearrange the mission.

Islington Report written by Gosia Rybacka
It was a proper summer โ๏ธ day today (finally) perfect for some evening gardening work ๐ฉโ๐พ. I arrived at Mrs C's doors at 7, she welcomed me and right away led to her back garden to explain the task.
The garden was not in any horrible state but was just fully "occupied" by some unwanted climbing weeds that were just literally everywhere - on a fence, an apple ๐ tree and all Mrs C's flowers ๐ธ and bushes. It wasn't just her problem as they seem to be also in the entire neighbourhood ๐.
Tackling these pesky vines as the first activity I took on and one I spent most of my time on (maybe around one full hour ๐). Mrs C brought a pair of sharp scissors โ๏ธ which massively helped me in cutting down and entangling the unruly plants.
Mrs C also helped with the gardening work at some point, getting rid of the weeds from the bushes and also brooming ๐งน, cleaning up the weeds and sweeping the leaves ๐.
Once I was done with the weeding I took over the broom and continued the general tidy ups. From time to time I crouched to pull out the weeds stuck inbetween the pavement blocks.
Mrs C's was very happy with the outcome and kept saying "Thank you", "Thank you", "It's hard to believe", "My husband won't believe". It wasn't that much of an effort from me so I was glad I was able to make such a big difference and made Mrs C smile ๐.

This group of 9 gifted joy to Camden's older residents this week!
Our lovely group of Londoners โ Charlie, Danny, Gosia, Jackie, John, and Steve โ welcomed 2 very wonderful Cardiffians โ Dylan and Rosie โ this week! It was brilliant meeting you both!
In humid and warm climes, our friendly group started the night with a swift meander through Camden and Kentish Town, and we arrived at Cressfield Close Sheltered Housing in happy spirits :)
Popped between Gospel Oak and Kentish Town, this cul-de-sac hides many a wonderful surprise โ some like to visit the city farm (and their friendly goats) and others (like us yesterday) like to explore the (beautiful) communal garden for older residents.
We met our favourite hosts โ Marie and Michael โ and they were prepared with water and tools, as well as tasks aplenty.
Charlie and Danny turned a patch of planting soil โ making it wonderfully ready and waiting for summer bulbs!
Dylan and Rosie tackled a square of weeds and grass โ and made the heavy work appear light, leaving it clear and ready for planting!
And Gosia, Jackie, John, and Steve didn't let the hedgerows become obstacles โ they crawled and knelt and reached and dug โ and they turned a weed-filled patch into a silky-smooth area fit for a flower show!
Thank you, everyone! It was lovely to see you!! And we hope to see you again, Dylan and Rosie!!

Camden Report written by John Shirley
Lismore Circus Community Woods is an urban space in Gospel Oak, staffed by volunteers, which is where we come in. They can always do with some extra help and there were ten of us!
First we had to move a fallen tree. Then we set to work on the hedges, which were growing over footpaths and a cycle path, and were generally looking rather untidy. Fancying ourselves as skilled hairdressers, we thought about working on perms, wedges, buns, braids, and mullets, but in the end just made some nice fringes.
By the time weโd finished, the paths were free of overhanging and overgrown foliage, and the hedges were cut back to leave a proper edge to the path.
A special welcome to Victoria, who weโd previously met at Hampstead ParkRun, and was here for her first ever good deed! See you again soon Victoria.
