A lovely day greeted the GG team. We tackled a variety of tasks. Weeding around the sides of the cafe and returning the pebbles to the infamous pit of everlasting task giving. We also filled 2 more bags of manure for the farm to sale to the public. A final photo by the rabbit pen with the resident cat and we were off on our daily adventures. Proper job 👏

Good Friday Farm folics brought us a lovely sunny morning. 8 hot crust GG buns and special guest Laura's friend joined for this Easter bunny edition. We had a set off tasks provided by the lovely chloe the livestock manager who we have got to know on our fridays. In Bay 4 near the compost heap we had one manure task, to bag and tie, ready to sale to help the community farm. Another group of us headed into the secret garden area to clear weeds and separate out that pesky bindweed. Another two of us entered the middle paddock cutting back the nettles and leaving the molar grazers to do the rest. 10 manure bags were produced for sale to the public, great job to help this great community enterprise. Great job, everyone, and have a happy Easter 🐣 🐰

As clockwork, cycling Sarah from the farm peddled in as we gathered for the task. A previous day recce to the farm had indicated little uns had tossed many pebbles out of the toy pit. Stage 1 of task was to sooty and sweep the pebbles back into the pit. In no time the pit had returned to its former glory for another day. Then next stop on the GG express was the lamb enclosure. 4 baby lambs but who were the parents? DNA testing needed. We did a bit of express weeding despite being seduced by the cuteness of the new born lambs. Then onto the traditional final team 🤳 selfie photo with the sheep and lambs in the background ish. Great job everyone 👏
