Christmas is just around the corner... but not quite here yet! Our festive Christmas card delivery was postponed to next week but we had a some textbook GoodGym tasks to tackle at Cranbrook Community Centre this evening; clearing leaves and planting bulbs! The outer garden of the community centre was covered in leaves from the enormous trees sheltering them. The team of 12, including two very welcome newcomers Kimberley & Shauna, set about clearing the beds, successfully filling 12 full bags! In the cleared space, the team then wielded the trowels and other potting tools, some looking like gardening cake cutters, and began planting the tulip bulbs. We look forward to seeing them bloom in the spring! It was a great job by the GGTH team, who still had enough energy for a warm up then some fartlek training in Well Street Common just north of Vicky Park. 6km covered. 12 bags of leaves filleed. Dozens of bulbs planted. A great way to start off the week! Well done all!

This is a truly brilliant pun. One of my faves ever.
