Every area has its own group legend, but only Kingston have Martel! Having been involved right from the earliest stages of even the idea of Kingston GG, Martel has earned her black ninja t-shirt. Congratulations Martel, and seriously thanks for all your efforts so far with everything.

Tonight's task certainly started with a Wizz bang warm up with a few dips and blind balancing thrown in for 'fun'. Then we set off for the task with fireworks and bonfire smoke all around us.

The route may have been a touch twisty and turney, but it didn't stop us powering through the task of clearing a road side flower bed of all its deep rooted and thorny inhabitants. We were certainly out for a bang with Goodguy Forks on our task tonight.

We were so engaged in our task that we weren't even slowed down or distracted by the fireworks shows going on in the sky above our heads. Caroline really got to grips with her fork and even got a little bent out of shape. You could be forgiven for thinking we had all been on the BFGs potion, such was our speed with the task. Digging and forking the bushes and over-grown shrubs, tugging and pulling them out of the ground, I even got to swing a trusty pick axe to really get to the root of the problem.

In the end there was nothing left for us to dig, so back to the Guildhall we went, for some well deserved Haribo!

Congratulations also to The Wests on their new arrival - Emilia Hope! Hope Paddo is coping OK?

Welcome to Tom on his first GG run also, hope to see you back next week.
