Wheel of fortune

With parkrun Worthing having been cancelled due to the installation of the huge observatory wheel Steve and I headed off on a scenic sunny 4 miler.

We ran amongst the Lancing parkrun and what a lovely experience that was . So friendly and a lovely route too.

After a pacey finish we met up with Anne , Barbara, and Paul to carry out our first community mission in Worthing

Jackie's garden was in a particularly sad state covered in weeds and overgrown grass.

Steve dug over the beds with Anne and Barbara and I weeding . Paul pruned the rather forlorn evergreen bush sprucing it up nicely.

Steve also finished up mowing the grass which made a lovely finishing touch to the look of the garden.

We had a lovely chat whilst working and had a few laughs discussing Steve and Jay's dating profile together with Barbara's peanut butter purchase later today in readiness for making her legendary vegan Birthday cupcakes for Monday's task.

30 short minutes later the ground force transformed Jackie's garden beyond recognition and back to best.

Great work team !!

Happy Birthday Barbara 🎁🎂🎉 Heres to the 🥞🍰!

Thank you to you all for giving up precious time on your weekend.

I love the concept of getting physically and mentally fit whilst combining it with helping others. I run most days.
