We arrived at Mrs H’s home and we’re greeted with an enormous smile! Mrs H was after some help to hang two curtain poles and curtains.

We immediately got to work joking with Mrs H that her stuffed toy (a dog) looked very realistic! The real one was safely behind the kitchen door! The first set of curtains went up in a flash but looked a bit uneven. We decided to come back to them….

The second curtain pole was a little trickier. We had a dilemma. The ball at the end of the pole would mean that the curtain didn’t fully block out the light or we could remove the ball. 🤔 We presented Mrs H with the options. Drop the ball, she said! Curtain pole up, we turned our attention to equally spacing the curtain hooks using our expert mathematics skills. All done!

Back to the first pair where we removed all the hooks and replaced them at equal distances. Much better!

Mrs H proclaimed that she was thrilled with our efforts! We bid farewell with another enormous smile!
