With a beautiful sunset in the background, Nathan and I set off for a mission to Ms F. I filled Nathan in on the goings on at the previous night’s group run...still bearing the scars of the ‘Sally’ squat challenge!

We arrived at Ms F’s house to a warm welcome. Ms F explained that she had recently moved house and needed some help to sort out her belongings. In particular, Ms F told us how much she loved videos and DVDs so wanted us to pack them up safely and store them in the garden. Ms F also had lots of cardboard boxes left from the move that she was keen to recycle.

Guided by headtorches, we set to work. Firstly, the cardboard boxes were folded up and placed into recycling bags. Secondly, DVDs and videos were placed in waterproof bags and covered over to protect them from the elements. There were some classics in Ms F’s collection!

We had a lovely chat with Ms F who told us that she had lived all over the world! Ms F was delighted with our efforts and grateful for our help.

We bid farewell to Ms F and headed back to our meeting point. On the way, we compared notes on our 2017 half marathons. Our mission was accomplished and had been good training for our next race!
