Thursday night's are my usual weekly shopping for Ms. D, but unfortunately as soon as I arrived her carer told me she hadn't been feeling well since the morning - complained of chest pains. I calmly put the kettle on to make tea for us whilst the carer decided to call the ambulance as we wanted to be safe than sorry. Ms. D didn't want this, but deep down knew it was the right thing to do. Yet, she was adamant at the time and after the paramedics left that she didn't want to go to King's after her last experience. I stayed during the whole check-up and even an hour after to make sure everything was as comfortable for her as it could be. I will phone her tomorrow to check-up on her.

No shopping tonight, but a befriend chat was needed instead. What a day!
