Five GoodGym runners came together at Stephens house and gardens to run and demonstrate three community Mission in one day. (is it a good gym record?) We warmed up and introduced ourselves then set off to St Mary‘s Church in Finchley. The oldest building in Barnet dating from the 12th century. The graveyard was full of litter as well as the local garden. So we set about clearing with litter pickers and bags donated by Barnet Council. It took longer than expected because of the level of refuse. We then jogged further down the hill to do some leafleting. (We occasionally do this to raise funds or awareness for a charity. Our third and final mission was to visit and help at Finchley way Open Space another kilometre away. It was great to see so many volunteers helping and it’s becoming an amazing open space for the public. We then returned back having completed three community missions in one day!

thanks for coming running and helping out
