On a bright and sunny Tuesday evening, five fabulous good-gymmers stepped up to the plate, ready to take their turn with the baton. The previous team of good-gymmers had already made a valiant effort painting the Somali Women's Group, but such a mammoth job will take numerous missions to finally bring it to task. Ready to start the relay were good-gymmers Roz, Ruth, Farnaz, Libby and Chris .

Roz, Libby and Chris carried on applying a second coat to the front room, neatening up those hard-to-reach edges. Meanwhile, Ruth took on the job of finishing off another coat of paint over the once-orange bathroom. Finally, Farnaz had the task of applying a second coat to the walls in the kitchen. We whistled while we worked, and really got into the mood with some Somalian music.

The paint underneath is so bright that some of these walls may need YET ANOTHER coat before we're satisfied.

Sahra from the Women's Centre is eagerly awaiting the time when it is safe again for the centre to open its doors. While she waits, at least Good Gym is on hand to make sure the centre is looking its best when it is finally able to reopen. We'll be back on Thursday evening to continue the job!

Special shoutout to Libby for completing her 5th good deed and Chris for completing his 15th! Great work!
