On a day when the downpours just kept coming, Good Gym Members Matthew, Pauline and Carol went to the Waterloo Centre and took the remaining food, which would otherwise go to waste and gave it to a group having out food hampers to the vulnerable. It mainly consisted of pasta, Christmas puddings and custard. First we had to sort out the food that was still in date and put aside the out of date food, which we obviously can't give out and which there was sadly quite a bit. All of the items were put in the back of my car, just at the point where the heavens opened and we had torrential rain and hailstones. It was good to be able to distribute of 8 pallets of food to the needy in the community. Another great job done by Good Gym.
