Mission

Taking a map

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Lambeth.

Mr D needed a restock having just returned from hospital to empty cupboards. His constant back pain and use of crutches means that getting to his local shop is currently difficult, but he knows it so well he was able to draw me a map of the location of each item on his list. Definitely a first for me but it appealed to my sense of order and I moved through the aisles efficiently picking up everything he needed. The bags were pretty heavy so I brought them into the sitting room on my return and spotted Mr D's impressive guitar collection, which sparked an interesting chat about his musical career and favourite guitar idols. I left with some Spotify searching to do and a strong hankering to have been a 70s rocker.
