On a wild wet halloween three goodgymers treated themselves to the Green Up site near the docks. The site is based on a sandy patch and has all native sand loving plants that grow naturally its part of a bigger project and it is so exciting to be part of it. we always learn so much when we help out ad Elaine is no knowledgeable. This time we had the task of helping to defining the stone path with bamboo stakes and using some of the marron grass which has successfully taken root in other parts of the plot to reduce the track that had started to become a wider and wider path. The result was a clearly defined path with plants either side... pity it was too dark to show up well in the pictures. a final task of sweeping the leaves up to be taken for composting and we finished the session wet and sandy but feeling a sense of satisfaction.
