Had the fortune of bumping into Paul on the journey to Stratford, got to catch up on the last few months, before he made a dash for home and endeavoured to catch us up.

Simon, Hilary, Kevin and Sharon were ahead of me, waiting at the PrintHouse, we discussed ankle laxity and regeneration, did an unconventional warm up, and then headed off into the night. On route we went through this week's RWQ "Have you recently spoken out of turn?" I managed it twice, I think, on Tuesday, hence wanted some reassurance that others do it too. Kev confused his inner monologue with his actual real life voice at a board meeting "are you f'ing serious?" I believe was the phrase used. Shaz had a a few examples with patient's parents. Hils and Simon, exemplary humans that they no doubt are, were without. Teach me, please?

Got to Get Out and got stuck in asap. Paul and Sharon grabbed brooms and started sweeping the paths. Hils and Simon went on a slug hunt and Kev and I cleaned the the algae off the pond.Felt like a privilege to be in that serene lush setting at night, surrounded by the bustling city, yet cocooned in our own little oasis.

We finished off with a drink, thanks Paul, and focaccia (read garlic bread) with humous, thanks Hils. All in an evening's work.

Next week we're at Cody Dock, sign up here

Till then my aerobic war horses,

B
