Shedding pebbles

Myself and Karolina attended to the garden of Mrs R today. For Karolina, this was her second visit on consecutive weekends so knew exactly where she needed to be and the potential pitfalls of a barrage that opens and prevents crossing over the bay. I myself on the other hand did not heed this warning and ended up being 10 minutes late! Not a great start!

The mission mainly comprised of two tasks: 1. Moving a shed from one side of the garden to the other. The recent heatwave and prolonged spell of sunny weather made it apparently that the location of the shed was the sunniest spot in the garden. So whilst the shed was lapping it up and getting a sun tan, Mrs R was missing out. 2. Clearing the border of small pebbles that had been laid there previously. Mrs R has some mobility difficulties and the pebbles would often blow across the garden in high winds which concerned her as it is a possible trip hazard.

Karolina and I quickly set to emptying the shed of it's contents and relocating it to the other side. Piece of cake! The difficult task was to get the contents back in! However, after a bit of tetris skills we managed to get everything back in.

Next was clearing the pebbles... although it was a small space, there was a surprising amount of them so a few bags were required mainly to prevent splitting. With this in mind, we still managed to split one bag. Fortunately not too much spilled out undoing our clearing work and we were able to safely double bag and move on.

A little bit of feng shui movement of furniture and plant pots afterwards ensued and all of a sudden our time was up and we were off! Mrs R expressed her gratitude and after a small chat learning about her niece, we said goodbye. It was our pleasure to attend this mission and we hope Mrs R is able to enjoy the sunshine in her new seating area, even though the sun decided to go away today!
