A flock of 36 runners gamboled their way like spring lambs from the Folk House down to Windmill Hill City Farm on Tuesday.

I'll just repeat that number... 36!

We're not sheepish about how much we love our runners, so want to crow about this - our biggest run so far. GoodGym Bristol has been going for just over 2 years and we're thrilled to have had that many runners lose on the city streets getting fit and doing good.

It was a lovely evening for the run and given the size of the group we had to regroup in Queens Square before heading in to Bedminster and to the farm. There's always a lot to look at down the farm, so those who had not been before were given a brief tour. That left about 22 people who had not, so shuttle runs and squats were the order of the day. No one chickened out, and in fact we were joined by a latecomer who dove in with the rest of us. We were just preparing to milk our fitness some more with lunges and tricep dips off a lovely long bench (honestly, it was made for us to hog!) when the farm tour ended and the good work began.

We were given flyers to take around the Bedminster area to promote various farmyard going on over the next month, so after splitting in to 4 groups and getting locations to head to, we set off at high speed.

Now here's the thing. When you have 36 people running around, it's a bit of a wild goose chase to get them all back to the same point at the same time, so it was decided that when the first 2 groups arrived back at the farm, they'd head off with Pru and stretch out back at the Folk House. Chris (that's Chris B, out of the many chaps called Chris at GoodGym!) waited for the other two groups and herded them back a bit later, and in fact arrived back at the perfect time as the first group had just finished stretching. Nice job Chris!

And nice job everyone else, whether you're called Chris, Richard, Nick, Olivia, Lisa, Jude (welcome!) Dave, David, or anything else. We could never do this with out the lot of ewe... and there are such a lot of ewe!

Note that due to me making a pigs ear of things, I didn't take any photos. To make sure we have something to look at, here' some cute animal photos, but if anyone took some pictures, do email them to me and I'll add them to the report.
