It was a very very chilly night in Tower Hamlets, but running to do good is a great motivation to get outside, especially for our new guy Joe - give him a cheer!

We started our evening run with a warm up before heading out on our short run to post some Christmas cards for Cranbrook Community Food Garden.

The task: After a 2km run there, we were greeted by Janet who handed us packs of cards to go and deliver to all the local tower blocks. After a quick explanation of where each of the tower blocks were and how to get access, we split off in pairs to go and wish everybody in the area a happy festive season. It would've taken volunteers at the community food garden several days to post all of these cards, but as there were a few of us and we were all running, it only took 30 mins!

Once finished we did a 12 days of Christmas Festive Fitness session featuring FIIIIIVE press ups several times, a few 10 second plank and 12 mountain climbers. Without even breaking a sweat (it was soooo cold) we ran back to base and all made our way home for the evening.

Thanks for having me Tower Hamlets - join Alex for your final run before Christmas next week, when you will be planting some bulbs (so long as nothing is still water clogged!).
