I met Ms. D the night before and she thought her carer was going to get the basics, but when the carer came back she could only get certain items due to the lack of money. Therefore, Ms. D gave me a tenner and told me to shop in my own time on Saturday and deliver it to her place (with prior warning).

I called her at noon to say I was going to pick up the items that she wanted me to pick up from M&S as she fancied the hot cross buns they do and didn't mind paying a bit extra for the other items (water, cheese, salad and bread). Yet, I had to go all the way to Streatham as I realised the M&S in Brixton is only clothing...so that was a bit of a detour and time wasted to my day. Still Ms. D was appreciative of the shopping and asked me to stay over for a cuppa and a hot cross bun.
