I have A a call, Kate’s coach. She’s self-isolating due to covid and is feeling particularly bored, so Kate agreed I’d give her a call. I really enjoyed hearing how A has transformed some characters in her care home and she told me how she’d worked on their attire, getting them to wear less dreary clothes that didn’t match and now they don colourful, matching outfits. What a legend! She laughed when I told her she should be getting paid by the home!

We also had a good chat about dressmaking and knitting patterns, and spoke of how good it feels to wear clothes that you’ve made yourself.

Looking forward to another chat in a few days time
