It was a cold and blustery morning with rain threatening so the omens were not great for this outdoor task. The Lister Steps has nearly finished it amazing transformation of the old Carnegie Library in between Old Swan and Tuebrook in Liverpool. One of the final jobs before they open their doors to the playgroups next Monday was to put up some screening so the children are not visible from the street. A quick tour of the building before we started showed just how the building has been totally transformed into something rather magical. Matthew together with another volunteer Mark and Caitlan from Lister Steps made light work of four sections of the screening before the rain started to come down. A great way to spend a couple of hours and hopefully there will be a break in the rain to do the rest before Monday comes.
