It was a great hour and a half of litter picking with the police and local councillors in attendance as well as other members of the public. With so much help we managed to clear out some back alleys and streets in Anfield. There are telephone junction boxes all over the place and they have a serious design fault because all sorts of rubbish including tools are thrown behind them. I cleared out one where a hammer and two machetes were found by the police. So, with all that help we managed to clear loads of bags of rubbish and it helps boost the morale of the locals as they see people out there cleaning up where they live.
