Goodgym gave me a zippity two-Dan Dave

So, I volunteered to write this mission report purely because after doing a mission with Danny this morning and this mission with Dan and David this afternoon, I realised that this is probably the only time I can ever say that Goodgym has given me a zippity two-Dan Dave :D (& on a day with plenty of sunshine too!)

After fuelling with a galette, I turned up to Ms M's to find Dan and David there and ready to get their garden on.

Both Dan and David had been to Ms M's for gardening tasks before and were looking forward to the warm welcome they knew she would give them.

After a hug and kiss hello, Ms M took us out to the garden and pointed out a few areas of the garden that she wanted trimmed/pruned, including some greenary around an arch (I'm unable to be more specific than this: my knowledge of green stuff is negligible). She also wanted her lawn mowing. I valiantly offered to do this latter task, as I figured that it required no real skill or judgement compared to trimming/pruning.

Unfortunately, this assumption was totally wrong, as I struggled with both fitting the collector box to the lawnmower and with actually turning the thing on. However, it turned out that the lawnmower was kaput rather than I'm simply unable to press two buttons simultaneously. Luckily, a neighbour loaned us their lawnmower and I was finally able to join the other two in tidying up the garden.

After we finished, Ms M kindly provided us with refreshments (including cake!!!) and we discussed the many, many similarities between David and Ms M's neighbour. The only difference we could find was that the neighbour had brought back a magnet for Ms M after a recent trip to Cornwall, whereas David's recent trip to the same location had not resulted in any present. To make up for it (and as the tallest person present) David kindly fitted a fire alarm cover in Ms M's house before we finally took our leave: David for food shopping, Dan for the gym, and myself to watch mission impossible.
