Gnome Mean Feat

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Cardiff.

Mike and I met outside Miss S’s house for our first mission together. Mike has already visited Miss S on a previous occasion and she was delighted to see him again.

Miss S explained that it would be really helpful if we could clear the weeds alongside her fence. Mike and I got cracking...

Feeling thankful that we’d remembered our gloves, we attacked the brambles and pulled the vines up. We did all this under the watchful gaze of Miss S and her vast collection of garden gnomes!

In just over an hour, we’d filled Miss S’s green bin and it was time to head off. Miss S told us how much she’d appreciated our help and said farewell with a huge smile on her face!
