Film buffs

Paul and I were tasked with “moving several piles of DVDs, a small desk and some small bookshelves from one bedroom into the next one” for Mr C.

We weren’t prepared for just how many DVDs Mr C had - at least 12 piles of DVDs piled from floor to ceiling in his main bedroom, and as many CDs under and around his desk. We needed to move a cabinet, a bookcase and this desk out of his main bedroom to allow for a hospital bed to replace his current bed in there.

After an hour and a half of DVD and CD Tetris, finding space anywhere we could in the spare bedroom, we managed to move enough of them to allow someone to be able to manoeuvre the current bed out of the main bedroom.

We were impressed with the variety and sheer volume of cases we moved which sparked a lot of quirky conversation!

Hopefully Mr C will be able to move back home soon, albeit with a slightly rearranged flat!
