27 excellent runners tell local traders about the Brixton People's Fridge

The Brixton People's Fridge is an awesome community initiative that helps reduce food waste and combat food poverty at the same time. It is a massive fridge in central Brixton that anyone can leave food in and anyone can take food out of. At the moment it is hidden away in POP Brixton, whilst various legal wranglings take place to find it a permanent, more public home. Our job tonight was to head out to food traders around Brixton and tell them about the fridge and encourage them to take and surplus food down at the end of the day.

We split into 4 teams and headed off out and about collecting contact details and generating lots of interest. On return to base, James put us through our paces with a lovely fitness session and Milly led some stretches. John Hunter's team claimed the BIG PRIZE for getting the most names and details of traders - well done gang!
