Check yourself before you Rec yourself

A Magnificent Seven GoodGymmers came out today for our first time volunteering with the Junior ParkRun at Paddington Recreation- including travelling from Hammersmith, Tower Hamlets, and aaaall the way from Greenwich!! Great work!

The route of the run is two laps of the cricket pitch there (which at the moment is more of a cricket swamp) and we had people marshalling the junctions in the path, as well as tail-walking and warm-up duties.

The runners were particularly enthusiastic and lively and had come dressed in support of Chelsea and Liverpool who just this week met in the FA Cup, and also Borussia Dortmund.

After us GoodGym volunteers had done, we disappeared off variously to do MORE GoodGym over in Hackney (Nice one!) some laps of the running track there, and for some boxing! 🥊
