This evening's run was a brisk jog through Victoria Park to see Paul, the creator of Brick Bingo,  a game that involves digging up bricks and sorting them into piles.  Paul is transforming an area by the canal into a community garden, the earth is full of bricks so our job is to dig up the bricks and get the earth ready for planting. We aimed to dig down about 2 feet over a patch of about 4 square meters and get the soil sifted and mixed with compost ready for planting. It was tough work, plenty of digging, wheelbarrowing and pick axing helped us work up a serious sweat. We left at 8.15 on the dot as the dusk fell.On the way back we split into two groups, racing round the two sides of the park and meeting up back at Bonner Gate, running the last 600 metres back the the Arch Gallery together.
