The little-known sequel to bedknobs and broomsticks...

Frances and I were tasked with disassembling Mr J's wooden bed and taking it down to the shed. We made light work of getting the heavy mattress down the stairs and in to the shed but hadn't banked on Mr J's master craftsmanship. He'd built the bed from scratch (amazing!) and screwed all the slats into the frame. The screws were super tight and not budging. Ms J allowed us to raid the well-stocked toolshed and a combination of the right tool and an impressive display of strength from Frances got the tricky screws out. The bed then joined the mattress in the shed and we were on our way!

Sorry for the unexpected hiccough, great that you didn't give up! Not that GoodGym volunteers ever give up easily ;)

Thanks so much for your help, that will be one very happy man who can now go home

You're stars! Thanks again
