This evening was a mellow Group Run with lots of creativity, crafting and Christmas spirit!

Samantha provided an epic supply of craft materials and Dave lugged along a magnet maker, so we were able to make some really lovely cards and little gifts for children on the Post Pals system.

If you haven't heard of Post Pals, they're a great little service. Children with illnesses and disabilities that reduce their ability to socialise are matched with volunteers who can write to them, send cards or small gifts to brighten up their day.

Lucy surprised us by turning up after she got jealous of our pub base for the task, and alongside some bargain burgers and Christmas Cracker riddles and jokes we had a really lovely evening.
