With the clouds hanging low, and some drizzling rain, last night's run didn't seem very inviting. But a small group of eager runners made it to Memorial Park, and we set off to a small community garden near plaistow tube, who had asked us to do some weeding for them.Alison, who runs the community garden, showed us the bags that had to be cleared of weeds, and we set ourselves the task of getting all of the 20 bags done in half an hour. Equipped with just gloves, we started straight away pulling out the weeds, and were surprised of how quick the bags got cleared. With the extra task of clearing weeds growing between the bags, we managed to get everything nice and tidy in the set time. By the time we were done, the sun had come out, and so we enjoyed our run back, heading over the greenway, where we did some sprints, and finally returned to Memorial Park.
