Who this task will support
Friends of Woolwich Common
We are a group of volunteers seeking to protect, preserve and campaign for Woolwich Common, a large green space in the Royal Borough in Greenwich, London.

We're going to help out the Friends of Woolwich Common who work to protect this beautiful open space and keep it clear from litter.

They'll have plenty of bags and pickers so just bring some gloves with you. If you register to be an Environmental Champion at waste.advisors@royalgreenwich.gov.uk you can also get your own pickers from the council.

We'll meet opposite the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on the common at 11am. This will be a recurring task on the last Sunday of each month to keep the common in tip top condition! The Friends of group will give you a good welcome. Make sure you take some snaps and nominate someone to write the run report!
