A tree fell in the woods, did it make a sound? Maybe not until Goodgym appeared by night to saw the tree up by torchlight into smaller bits, and tackle some other wonky trees and branches that were obstructing a path through the woods on Bradgers Hill. All the logs and branches were carried away to a nearby fire site for future burning.

This was a small part of a larger project by the council and the Wildlife Trust to restore good ecological management of the hillside and protect the ancient monument that makes it unique. People were cultivating this hillside thousands of years ago and their hard work will be remembered!
