Breezy like Sunday morning

Acton your good intentions! 3 Goodgymers gathered on a sunny autumn morning to support Acton Park junior parkrun by filling various volunteering roles. Lucy was marshalling to make sure none of the youngsters took a wrong turn whilst Alex and Tom shouldered the responsibilty of time keeping. (Note to self: bring gloves if you plan to operate a stopwatch for half an hour mid November). Junior parkrun is a great opportunity to try out new roles, and also an excellent way to support the next generation of Goodgymers! After some impressive running by the juniors, and the odd little tumble on the slippery grass at the finish line, we were pleased to report that we all counted the same amount of children coming through and none got lost en route.
