On a cold and windy night our Shed 7 ran to the beatuiful Sully Primary school, located right on the seafront.

They met in the nearby Sports complex and ran to meet Head Teacher Steve at the Vale community mission. This was Goodgym's second visit to Sully Primary, they were there to continue to work on painting the sheds on the grounds.

There was a large storage shed to paint white and Steve said if there was time (and it was not too cold!) there was a also a smaller one to do.

Thanksgiving

28.5% of the Shed 7 group are Ameican and they had chosen to spend their National Holiday volunteering. Kudos to Aimee and Ellen and Happy Thanksgiving.

The paint was going on quickly, Darren and Lucy one side, Nic and Andrew the other, Nathan, Aimee and Ellen taking on the front. It was a cold and blowy night and hands were cold and teeth were chattering! The group powered on and soon the first shed was almost done. We spent much of the time trying to remember Shed 7's biggest hit?!?

It was felt it was too cold to move on to the 2nd shed.........but the goal posts were literally moved - and Ellen and Aimee made a start. (Check the pic, this is a great pun, trust me) ;o)

Everyone joined in helping with the 2nd Shed and in what felt like......... well ages actually as it was freezing - we were done! ;o) Lucy pointed it was lucky we were the Shed 7 and there was not 7 sheds to do! We could Shed-ule to come back to do more!

Steve came out to thank us and help pack away. Then after some photos and a quick clean up we were running back to the meet up point. The night was not done though as Aimee had baked some pumpkin bread for everyone (except Nathan, we had sent him off Chasing Rainbow paint!) - it was amazing and warm!!!!! Thanks Aimee! We dined on a picnic bench before going our separate ways - to Shed our clothes and jump in a hot bath or shower!

Well done all, Shed loads done.

PS - Shed 7 had a hit with Chasing Rainbows, 1998. (That Nathan joke makes more sense now right?)
