The rain lashed down yesterday afternoon but that didn't stop Steph Ducat, Doris and Rachel from meeting in the park to help pick up rubbish in Fairfield Park.

Steph had cycled all the way down from Hayes, taking the scenic route through Richmond Park, and wasn't going to let getting damp prevent him him from completing the task.

We went round the edge of park mostly under the trees to keep the worst of the rain off with our bags and litter pickers.

Doris and Rachel did a double task that day having visted Canbury Community Gardens in the morning in much better weather!

Great task and well done for getting out in the rain.
