Baked potatoes

Two Coventry Goodgymers spent a sunny Saturday morning at the Team Springboard allotment. With our suncream and sunhats on, our first task was to tackle some of the weeds and have a good old chat and catch up at the same time. Then, we prepared one of the beds for planting out potatoes. This involved laying cardboard, layering compost and straw and watering to make sure the potatoes can have a good drink. We definitely earned our tea and biscuits today!

We always have a lovely time at the Springboard allotment, looking forward to visiting again next month to see how much everything has grown!
