The Wandsworth Enable team is working through the process with Park Run to get junior parkrun started in Battersea Park. As part of this, the Battersea team are doing a takeover event on Sunday 8 October at Burgess Junior Park Run.

A takeover event is a really important step in helping to bring together all the brilliant volunteers who are wanting to be part of Battersea Park Junior Park Run. To help this run smoothly they have asked for volunteers as it will help to demonstrate to Park Run that they are ready to start and make the event a success at Battersea Park.

Anyone signing up will need to have a Park Run ID, therefore if you do not have one please register via Park Run https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/. Then please email Peter Freeman in advance of the event to let him know your ID and which role you'd like to do on the day: pfreeman@enablelc.org

This is a super fun and rewarding event and is an important step in getting parkrun in Battersea!
