Who this task will support
Heworth Without Parish Council
First tier of local authority involved with maintenance of local allotments, community centre, play area, considering local planning applications and other local matters.

Please note that this community mission has been cancelled.

This should be the last session of breaking up soil clods, getting the soil sieved and transported to a low lying area of the playing field where it is to be raked into the grass as a top dressing. We have worked out an 'efficient' way of breaking up the clods on our first visit and will continue with that.

Spades, hammers, plastic bags, rakes and wheelbarrows will be provided.

Please bring your gardening gloves.

Meet by the newly installed outdoor gym equipment. You have to go through the play area to get there.

Stay for a fitness workout after the task!

The task is being rescheduled to Monday 24th May. Further easing of COVID-19 restrictions is believed to be a factor in low take-up for tonight's task.
