Social visit for Ms L who loves Tai Chi and creative writing.

Age UK Portsmouth have asked us to help Ms L with a series of social visits.

Ms L is lonely and just looking for someone to visit to chat to. Ms L used to enjoy Tai Chi and creative writing, she also likes to garden. Originally from Kent, she moved to Southsea a few years ago to live in her daughters flat (but her daughter lives elsewhere).

Not all homes have been risk assessed by the referrer or GoodGym and, although we will always give you as much information as we can before the mission, the home environment may still not be as expected, or may have changed. Remember that you do not have to enter, or remain in, the property if you do not feel comfortable. We recommend that you review your social visits training regularly as this contains advice on lone working and reporting concerns.

If you’d like to do this mission but cannot make any of the listed times or dates, please email missioncontrol@goodgym.org and we will do our best to organise this for you.

GoodGym has listed this mission for one or two GoodGymers. Two GoodGymers can go together, but the mission will still go ahead with one if only one person signs up by the deadline. If you are concerned about going solo, please do not feel under pressure to attend. Instead, please send us an email to missioncontrol@goodgym.org. If you let us know, we will not confirm it unless we have a second GoodGymer.
