The Shining Stars walk takes place takes in Old Portsmouth, the Historic Dockyard, Southsea seafront & Canoe Lake.

Participants carry lights and dress up in bling and sparkle, and the whole event is shiny and joyful.

Volunteer roles range from car park marshalling, helping at the Glitter Station, marshalling the route or welcoming walkers back to Old Portsmouth.

Some roles start at 4pm, others later from 6pm or 7pm. You can sign up for the task that you'd enjoy, for the time commitment you can offer. You definitely don't have to be available for 6 hours!

There is a volunteer registration form for The Rowans, which I will email to you once you've signed up here for the GoodGym task.

I love to combine keeping active, helping my local community, protecting the environment and having fun with others doing the same.
